DISPLACED
"In a land fractured by silence, one man's faith becomes his loudest weapon."
When Faith Collides With Corruption, Justice Finds A Voice
★ Coming Soon · Global Release 2026 ★
Haunted by family tragedy and spurred by a sister's preventable death, a devout young Nigerian man uncovers a web of corruption within his own church — forcing a perilous confrontation with hypocrisy, crime, and the true cost of forgiveness.
Faith isn't found in the sanctuary; it's forged in the fire of what we lose.
The Narrative
A Journey
Through The Fire
Displaced is a gripping faith-driven drama that immerses viewers in the tumultuous landscape of Northern Nigeria. We follow Haruna, a young man whose world collapses in a dual strike of tragedy: first, the death of his sister due to medical neglect, and shortly after, the total destruction of his family by rebel forces.
Isolated and adrift, Haruna's grief transforms into a mission. As he searches for solace, he instead unearths a dark underbelly of sexual abuse and systemic hypocrisy hidden within the very institution that promised him sanctuary: the church.
Haruna's courage makes him a marked man — caught in a pincer between powerful religious figures desperate to protect their secrets and ruthless criminal elements whose shadows he has inadvertently stepped into.
Alongside allies Bitrus, a hardened man of principle, and Hannatu, a woman of resilient spirit, Haruna must navigate a treacherous path through the hardest questions of human existence.

The Conflict
Three Burning Questions
01
"Can there be forgiveness for the unimaginable?"
02
"Is justice possible in a lawless land?"
03
"What does faith truly mean when God feels silent?"

Director's Vision
Why This Story
Matters Now
"In the silence of Northern Nigeria, stories like Haruna's are often buried under the weight of religion, tradition, fear, or systemic neglect. Displaced is not just a film about persecution; it is an excavation of the human soul under extreme pressure."
I wrote Displaced because I believe that true faith must be able to withstand the harshest scrutiny. We often talk about external threats to our beliefs, but rarely do we turn the lens inward to examine the rot of hypocrisy and the pain of medical and social injustice that thrives in the shadows.
This film is a tribute to those who have lost everything yet refuse to lose their integrity. Through Haruna's journey, I wanted to explore a difficult truth: that forgiveness is not a sign of weakness, but the ultimate act of defiance against a world that demands we become as bitter as our circumstances.
This is a call for a global revival — one built on transparency, justice, and a compassion that actually acts.
